A Place to Learn

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:29

Yes, there is a place for you to LEARN at First Baptist Church. Through Bible-based teaching and positive discipleship you will find an environment of growth, both for the new believer and for the experienced Christian.

Each Sunday morning classes are offered for all age groups, from newborn/nursery age to senior adults. The lessons are interesting, scriptural, and tailored to suit the needs and learning levels of each group. In a small group setting like this, you have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss issues and share your own experiences with others. In the process, you have a great time and make new friends.

A separate Children’s Worship service is also offered during the Morning Worship hour, giving the children a unique setting and experience designed just for them.

FBC is proud to be able to offer the AWANA program Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. Available to children from Pre-K — 6th grade, AWANA combines innovative games and an award system that makes learning fun and easy.

Topical and informative study hours for the adults; and fun, fresh Bible studies for the 7th-12th graders on Wednesday nights are offered at the same time.

A well-educated Christian is a Christian equipped to deal victoriously with the difficulties and temptations of living in a rapidly changing and, in many cases, rapidly deteriorating world. FBC seeks to train and disciple Christians who can stand confidently for Christ in that world.
